A great start to the Daddy Corps series. DF's story and writing style draw you into the plot quickly.Parker was near perfect and Bailey wasn't nearly as stubborn and independent as the back-cover blurb would have you believe. She was actually smart enough to let Parker do his job and I thought that her attraction to him really sizzled. The stalker, however, was way too easy to guess and you wondered how everyone could have overlooked him.

I enjoyed reading this story. It had some steamy aspects that really didn't need to be in the story. However it did spice up the story. Part of the Daddy Corps series.

A battered ex-soldier faces his riskiest mission yet as he returns to civilian life with his teenage son and a new job that give him a purpose in life again. Add in the priveledged governor's daughter who's been receiving threats that are escalating. Someone close to her wants her dead and it's his job to protect her. Passion and war prevail as they face down an enemy that's a lot closer than they think. Fast-paced action.

Overall a good story although the editing on this book was awful. Too many typos and other grammatical errors. I was surprised by the cliffhanger at the end. Is this resolved in another book?

This book was good. I liked reading it and it helped pass the time. It was certainly interesting!

An OK book. Not terrible for a Harlequin romance, but not the best writing either. The kind of book that gives me hope I will be a published author one day. ;)
