I absolutely loved this book!! I really liked the characters in the book. The main character was a smart and sassy girl.(I hate when the main girl character is so weak and tries to always sacrifice herself for everyone all the while she is putting everyone in danger.) All of the characters had smart mouths which made the book a really fun book to read. It had some sad moments which made me cry and had some really funny moments which made me laugh. I fell in love with all the characters in this b [...]

This was a pretty good vampire paranormal romance. As I read, I caught hints from other popular vampire fiction. televised and written works.I wouldn't go as far as saying the author copied material, but there was definitely an influence. Inspiration comes in different forms. This was a little lengthier than I was expecting, but I never got bored. I thought the author did a great job with connecting the present with the past, the past with the present, and then the separate pasts with the separat [...]

In The Undead Heart, author Stephanie “Tate” Jackson has crafted a very entertaining story of vampires (or vampyres as used in the novel), time travel, and a love that lasts through centuries. The story opens with a mysterious man appearing at the high school graduation of our main character, Rebecca Stockdale. Seems this mystery man has appeared in “Beck’s” life before: always in time to save her from accident or injury. With this, the story captured my interest right away. The novel b [...]

Very enjoyable read.I was sceptical when I started reading 'The Undead Heart' by Tate Jackson but I quickly got into it, then I could not put it down and took it to bed with me, reading under the bedclothes with my kindle so as not to wake up the other half. So I finished reading at just after five o clock in the morning and have to say loved the book and am looking forward to reading the next book by this author.I am not someone who regularly reads vampire romance, in fact the first one I read [...]

I love my vamp reads, and the blurb lured me in. The Undead Heart (#1 in the Blood Thirst Series) by author Stephanie Jackson was provided for my reading pleasure in exchange for an honest opinion, via the Shut Up and Read group right here on , what the hell you waiting for?! Number one, hands down best group on , and readers get to signup for books to read, just like this, with numerous genres in exchange for review. I believe this is a nice start to a promising vampyre read, the editing is fai [...]

I was given this book to write an honest review. I found the undead heart very entertaining. The book was very different to what i've read previously and found this to be a refreshing change. The author did fantastic job with the idea this book, I loved the style of writing and found it easy to follow. I feel the authorhor did a fantastic job with the characters and they worked together. The characters were very likable and all individual in their characteristics. There were many times throughou [...]

Beck is sent back in time to see who Jack the Ripper is. While there, she meets her soul mate. The only problem.he's a vampire. She dies there. Richard must wait a century before she is born and he can see her again. This time Richard has to save her. Beck wants to save his family when she goes back this time. She has knowledge of what is going to happen and things must be changed.I enjoyed this book but it could really use some editing. Wrong words are used. Of is added to sentences when it sho [...]

This book was ok. There was way too much happening in so few pages. This book easily could have been two books. Beck and Richards love story was interesting with how it related to time travel. I love time travel books but who just agrees to go back in time on the first meeting. Not only that but you have watch jack the ripper murders and not interfere. And then just report back and the guy asks you who did it, you tell them, and then they leave. That's it!! How does the machine work and who was [...]

2✿'s. I had real trouble getting through this one was a lot of telling and not much showing. I found myself wanting to skip whole pages and it was hard to believe Beck's reactions to things. She just accepted, "I'll explain it all later" way too easily; with all that was thrown at her, I'd have been saying, "you'll tell me right now or I'm out!" The story wasn't badis author had several really good ideasey just weren't executed well enough for me to be drawn in or truly believe in them.I was g [...]

This is the first of two reviews the books provided by Shut up and Read. The pace at the beginning of the book was very slow up until the middle. The pace started to pick up after that. The language was a bit much for me.It was only until the middle of the book that characters started to grow on me.Hopefully the second book is better.

This was a very enjoyable book to read. Although there were a few spots in the novel that did not flow real easy. I really like the concept of Hunters and Vampires working together for the quality of the story. I felt a kindred spirit with the characters as I read the box. You will enjoy this novel, and I hope to read her next books .
