Werewolf AsylumThe Amazing Wolf Boy, Book 2By: Roxanne SmolenNarrated by: Danny RandersonThis is an audible book I requested and the review is voluntary. This is a fun teen book about werewolves. This time Cody is in trouble with other weres as they are being trapped by a doctor. There is romance, friendship, and suspense. Teen problems with fur! There is also a new character Cody meets, a boy his age that can change into animals with Indian Magic. It is a fun teen read but has evil side too!The [...]

I am reserving a five star rating until I read the first book.Obviously, I am reviewing this as a stand alone bookd I must say, it is pretty great. I did not feel lost or confused at any point while reading this, but I did feel the need to get online and buy The Amazing Wolf Boy right away (which I did). The characters are believable and the writing is superb. Smolen has a way with words that makes this book a delight to read. Wonderful descriptions that made me see/feel/smell and small phrases [...]

Cody is the new kid in town. He’s hardly been around long enough for his crush to know he’s the Amazing Wolf Boy. Now his mother wants him committed to a Werewolf Asylum. Cody isn’t the only one having parent issues. Brittney and a runaway kid from the nearby Native American tribe also deal with some heavy family drama. Smolen is great at utilizing a recurring theme.I really liked the different method of shape changing that was introduced in this installment. If I could change into any ani [...]

Teen Wolf Season 2“Great. The part of the loveable dog will be played by Cody the Wolf.”Best line in a book filled with great lines. When I came across “The Amazing Wolf Boy” 2 years ago, I pretty much inhaled it. It was such an awesome story about Cody, who is on vacation in Paris when he inconveniently turns into wolf during the main course at dinner. How embarrassing – especially when you’re 16. His parents are mortified that they have a werewolf for a son and ship him to live with [...]

I thought this was a good book. I can see kids and teenagers enjoying it as well. There were multiple story lines, but not so many, or so complex, that they got confusing. The details and current news/tv shows/etc included in the book made it fun.

This is the second story in The Amazing Wolf Boy Series. If you are reading this and have not read the first book then you need to seriously stop reading this and read the first book so as I don’t ruin things for you. I was absolutely Shocked that the potion actually worked and of course we all know it was not used on Cody since obviously there is the second book DUH! I kept waiting for Brittany to get kidnapped by the crazy werewolves in the first book, but as we know that didn’t happen unt [...]

I recieved this book in the giveaway a little while ago, and was really excited to read it, while i did not know it was a series when i signed up for it, and i have not read the first book, i really enjoyed it, it was a little too easy to read, only took a few hours to read in total, the characters are well developed, you like the right characters and hate the others.
